Vetting Hub/AI Workplace Data Privacy, Compliance and Risk Course

AI in the Workplace Without the Compliance Knowledge to Match

A practical, CPD certified course that gives you the knowledge and structure to manage AI, data privacy and automated decision making in the workplace lawfully, fairly and with full confidence.

"We built this course because organisations are adopting AI tools for hiring, screening and monitoring without understanding the data privacy obligations that come with them. Too many teams are making automated decisions they cannot explain or defend. In 2 to 3 hours, you will know exactly how to govern AI in the workplace and earn your CPD certificate to prove it."

Expert Built AI Workplace Data Privacy Mastery

This CPD certified course teaches you how to use artificial intelligence in the workplace lawfully and responsibly. You will learn what UK GDPR requires when personal data is processed by AI systems, how automated decision making affects the rights of employees and applicants, and what governance structures your organisation needs to manage AI risk proportionately. Every lesson connects legal requirements to the practical decisions you face in hiring, screening and workforce management.

The course covers the complete framework: understanding how AI tools function in employment contexts, lawful bases for processing personal data through automated systems, data protection impact assessments for AI, bias identification and fairness testing, transparency and explainability obligations, workplace monitoring and surveillance, vendor due diligence for AI providers, incident response planning for AI related breaches, and building proportionate AI governance policies that satisfy regulators and auditors.

Each module includes real world scenarios that go beyond textbook guidance, teaching you how to respond when an AI screening tool produces unexplainable results, when automated monitoring crosses proportionality boundaries, and when vendor assurances do not match regulatory requirements.

Why We Built This Course

We built this course because AI is changing how organisations screen, hire and monitor people, but most teams have no structured training on the data privacy rules that apply.

From 2006 to 2024, we ran our own screening businesses and saw firsthand how technology reshaped the vetting process. We worked with employers adopting automated identity checks, AI driven reference tools and algorithmic risk scoring, often without understanding the GDPR obligations attached to those systems. We watched organisations struggle to explain automated decisions to applicants, fail to conduct data protection impact assessments, and rely on vendor promises that did not hold up under regulatory scrutiny.

What Makes This Different

Every lesson comes from real compliance challenges we have encountered working with AI tools in screening and employment, not theory from a policy summary. You will learn how to assess AI systems for lawfulness, manage data privacy risk proportionately, and build governance that satisfies regulators. In 2 to 3 hours, you walk away CPD certified and confident you can govern AI in the workplace. Built by practitioners, not trainers.
